The  No. 25 ranked Oregon Ducks play the No 10 ranked Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday January 2nd in the Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Oregon finished the regular season 4-2 overall and 3-2 in the Pac-12, which was third in the North Division of the conference. Oregon ended its regular season with a 31-24 victory over the USC Trojans, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

Quarterback Tyler Shough passed for 1,480 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions while being sacked and 10 times. The leading rusher for Oregon was Travis Dye with 391 yards and one touchdown, while the leading receiver was Devon Williams with 264 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Isaac Slade-Matautia was the leading tackler with 38 and defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was the leader in quarterback sacks with 3.0.

Iowa State finished its regular season 8-3 overall and 8-1 in the Big 12, but lost to the Oklahoma Sooners in the conference title game 27-21. The loss to Oklahoma snapped a five-game winning streak for Iowa State. Even though Ohio State gained 435 yards of total offense against the Sooners, the Cyclones committed a costly three turnovers. 

Brock Purdy has passed for 2,594 yards, 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while being sacked 12 times. The leading rusher for Iowa State is Breece Hall with 1,436 yards and 19 touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Xavier Hutchinson with 726 yards and four touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Mike Rose is the leading tackler with 90 and defensive end JaQuan Bailey is the leader in quarterback sacks with 7.0.

While the UNDER is a solid choice here, the play is Iowa State. Iowa State gained more yardage in its loss to Oklahoma than the Sooners, but the Cyclones turned the ball over three times and still managed to lose by only six points. Iowa State has covered the number in five of its last six as the favorite, while Oregon has failed to cover the nut 12 of its last 17 non-Pac-12 matchups.
