The Oregon State Beavers visit the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on Saturday to play a Pac-12 showdown against the UCLA Bruins. Oregon State fell to 1-3 on the season following its 31-28 loss to Stanford on Saturday. Oregon State was held scoreless in the first half but came on strong late scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter. Jake Luton passed for 337 yards and one touchdown in the loss.
UCLA fell to 1-4 on the season following its 20-17 loss to Arizona. JJ Molson missed a field goal attempt from 39 yards that would have tied the game for UCLA with just seconds remaining. Dorian Thompson-Robinson was injured in the third quarter and the UCLA QB was replaced by Austin Burton who led the Bruins late in the game down the field and into field goal range but Molson pushed his kick wide right.
Jake Luton leads Oregon State in passing with 1,012 yards passing and nine touchdowns. Artavis Pierce leads the Beavers in rushing with 363 yards and four touchdowns.
