The UCLA Bruins lost head coach Chip Kelly to become Ohio State’s offensive coordinator in the offseason and replaced him with former NFL RB DeShaun Foster. The Bruins (1-2) rank last in the conference in total offense and their only victory came against Hawaii by a field goal. On Saturday, UCLA failed to score a point during the second half of a 34-17 road loss against 16th ranked LSU.

UCLA led 10-7 after one quarter on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Ethan Garbers to Jack Pedersen and a Mateen Bhaghani 47-yard field goal. Garbers finished with 281 passing yards and two scores for the Bruins, who surrendered 455 yards to the Tigers. 

UCLA leads this all-time series with a 39-32 record, but Oregon has emerged victorious the previous four meetings. The Ducks have been inconsistent and it is hard to trust them to cover a number this big. Look for both offenses to find success in a game that goes over the total.
