In Saturday college football action, the Oregon Ducks will travel to California Memorial Stadium to face the California Golden Bears. Last week, Oregon surrendered a 12-point lead entering the fourth quarter during a 41-38 road loss against rival Oregon State. The Ducks (3-1) turned the ball over three times and gave up the winning touchdown with 33 seconds remaining.
Oregon QB Tyler Shough completed 20 of his 31 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Dye added 93 yards rushing on 12 carries in a losing effort for the Ducks.
The California Golden Bears have dropped three straight games to start the season and are scoring just 20 points on average. On Saturday, California had an extra point blocked with less than a minute remaining during a heartbreaking 24-23 loss versus Stanford. The Golden Bears outgained the Cardinal by a 392-300 margin and turned the ball over twice in defeat.
Christopher Brown Jr. capped a 14 play, 90 yard drive with a three yard touchdown run to bring California to within 24-23. Kekoa Crawford caught five passes for 52 yards and a score for the Golden Bears.

The Golden Bears have been plenty competitive and I expect their offense to get on track against the Ducks. Take California plus the points at home.
