Two programs on the rise will square off in the Outback Bowl, when the Ole Miss Rebels battle the Indiana Hoosiers from Raymond James Stadium. The Rebels lost five of their nine SEC Conference games for first year head coach Lane Kiffin, but rank 13th in the nation in scoring (40.9 ppg). Last time out, Ole Miss turned the ball over six times during a 53-48 road loss against LSU.

Ole Miss QB Matt Corral threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns, but was responsible for five interceptions. Corral added 158 yards rushing and a score for the Rebels.

The Indiana Hoosiers put together a major breakthrough campaign for fourth year head coach Tom Allen. The 11th ranked Hoosiers won six of their seven games, with their only loss coming at Ohio State by a 42-35 final score. In their regular season finale, Indiana forced two turnovers and leaned on their defense during a 14-6 road victory against Wisconsin.

Indiana QB Jack Tuttle threw two touchdowns in his first career start and finished the day with 130 yards passing. Whop Philyor caught four passes for 47 yards and a score.

Indiana QB Michael Penix Jr. was lost for the season with a torn ACL and the offense has not been as explosive without him. Ole Miss improved on defense as the season went on and their offense has too many weapons. Take the Rebels to pull off the upset. Final Score Prediction, Ole Miss Rebels win but grab the points just in case 35-31.
