The Old Dominion Monarchs visit Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday to play the Marshall Thundering Herd. Old Dominion’s season continues to go downhill as the Monarchs were beaten on Saturday by Western Kentucky 20-3 for their fourth straight loss. The Monarchs only score came on a 24-yard field by Nick Rice in the second quarter.
Marshall fell to 2-3 on the season following its 24-13 loss on the road to Middle Tennessee. The Thundering Herd trailed by just 17-13 at the half, but was held scoreless in the second half. Isaiah Green passed for 365 yards with one touchdown for Marshall but was hurt by three interceptions. Marshall never led in the entire game.
Stone Smartt has thrown for 797 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions. Smartt also has rushed for 157 yards and five touchdowns. The leading rusher is Lala Davis with 161 yards and one touchdown. Kesean Strong leads all receivers with 133 yards. The leading tackler for Old Dominion is Lawrence Garner with 47.

Brendan Knox is the leading rusher with 395 yards and four touchdowns, while Armani Levias leads all receivers with 164 yards and one touchdown, and Corey Gammage has 150 yards and one touchdown. The leading tackler for Marshall is Tavante Beckett with 46.
