Oklahoma State at Kansas State 11/7/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

A huge Big 12 Conference showdown will take place on Saturday night, when the Oklahoma State Cowboys visit the Kansas State Wildcats. The 14th ranked Cowboys won four straight games to start the season by leaning on a defense that allowed just 48 points total. On Saturday, Oklahoma State was unable to get a stop late during a 41-34 overtime loss versus Texas. The Cowboys outgained the Longhorns 530-287, but turned the ball over five times.

Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders threw for a career-high 400 yards and four touchdowns. Tylan Wallace exploded for 11 receptions for 187 yards and found the end zone twice.

The Kansas State Wildcats have just one loss in conference play and currently in a three-way tie for first place with Oklahoma State and Iowa State. On Saturday, Kansas State was overmatched during a 37-10 road loss against West Virginia. The Wildcats (4-2) managed just 225 yards of total offense and failed to score in the second half.

Freshman QB Will Howard completed 19 of his 37 passes for 184 yards and three costly interceptions. RB Deuce Vaughn was limited to 22 yards rushing on nine attempts in a losing effort for the Wildcats.

Oklahoma State holds a 40-26 edge over Kansas State all-time, including a 26-13 victory in Stillwater a season ago. Both defenses have been playing very well and my lean on the total is the under. The stronger play is on the Wildcats to keep things close at home. Final Score Prediction, Oklahoma State Cowboys win but fall well short of covering against the spread 24-20.
