Oklahoma at WVU 11/28/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

A Big 12 Conference showdown will take place on Saturday night, when the Oklahoma Sooners invade Milan Puskar Stadium to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers. The 14th ranked Sooners (6-2) are riding a five-game winning streak and are scoring 45.5 points per contest. On Saturday, Oklahoma scored the first 21 points and cruised to a 41-13 home victory versus Oklahoma State.

Redshirt freshman QB Spencer Rattler completed 17 of his 24 passes for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Rhamondre Stevenson plowed through the Oklahoma State defense for 141 yards on 26 carries.

The West Virginia Mountaineers have won five of their first eight games and are a program on the rise for second year head coach Neal Brown. The Mountaineers lead heavily on a defense that is allowing just 17.8 points and 274 yards on average. Last time out, West Virginia limited TCU to 295 total yards and forced two turnovers during a convincing 24-6 home victory.

West Virginia WR T.J. Simmons had a breakout offensive performance with 90 yards receiving and two scores. Leddie Brown contributed 156 rushing yards on 24 carries for the Mountaineers.

Oklahoma has won eight straight meetings in this series, but West Virginia has closed the gap. The Mountaineers have had an extra week to prepare and get a Sooners’ squad off a rivalry victory. Take the points with the home underdog as WVU defense continues to be way under rated. Final Score Prediction, Oklahoma Sooners win close game but fall short ATS 28-27.
