Oklahoma at Baylor 11/16/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

A potential Big 12 Conference Championship preview will take place on Saturday night, when the Oklahoma Sooners invade McLane Stadium to take on the Baylor Bears. The tenth-ranked Sooners rank first in the nation in total offense and suffered their lone loss of the season at Kansas State. Last week, Oklahoma managed to escape with a 42-41 home victory versus Iowa State.

The Sooners led by 21 points on three different occasions, but were outscored 20-0 in the final quarter. Heisman Trophy candidate Jalen Hurts threw for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

The Baylor Bears are undefeated through nine games and have rewarded head coach Matt Rhule with a contract extension that will keep him in Waco until 2028. On Saturday, the 12th ranked Bears failed to score a touchdown in regulation and escaped with a 29-23 victory at TCU in triple overtime. Denzel Mims caught two passes in overtime to lift Baylor.

Charlie Brewer completed 27 of his 41 passing attempts for 195 yards and two touchdowns. The Baylor defense allowed 308 yards and forced three turnovers on the afternoon.

Oklahoma has won four straight meetings in this series and thumped Baylor by a 66-33 final score in Norman last year. The Sooners have allowed forty plus points in consecutive weeks and can not be trusted as a double-digit favorite. Take the over. Final Score Prediction, Oklahoma Sooners win but the safest play is bet this over total 46-38.
