Ohio State vs Washington 1/1/19 - Rose Bowl - NCAAF Picks & Predictions

Following a regular season in which they went 12-1 and finished up ranked 6th in the country the Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Pasadena to battle the #9 Washington Huskies. The Buckeyes are hoping to defeat a Pac 12 opponent for the second straight bowl season. The Buckeyes defeated the USC Trojans in the Cotton Bowl last season.

Dwayne Haskins had a record breaking season at quarterback for the Buckeyes in 2018 and threw for 4580 yards, 47 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. J.K. Dobbins lead the Buckeyes in rushing during the regular season and ran for 1029 yards and 9 touchdowns. Parris Campbell is the top receiving threat for the Buckeyes and caught 79 passes for 992 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2018 campaign. After finishing the regular season 10-3 and winning the Pac 12 championship, the #9 Washington Huskies journey to Pasadena to play the #6 Ohio State Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl. The Huskies lost to Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl last season.

Jake Browning quarterbacks the Huskies and had a down year in 2018. Browning threw for 2879 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions on the season. Myles Gaskin lead the Huskies in rushing in 2018 and ran the ball 235 times for 1147 yards and 10 touchdowns. Aaron Fuller is an additional player to watch for Washington and caught 51 passes for 794 yards and 4 touchdowns this season.

This Buckeyes team finished the year on fire with two of the more impressive wins of season and think Ohio State will pick right up where they left off. The PAC 12 is just not very good and think that will show in ugly Rose Bowl loss for Huskies. Final Score Prediction, Ohio State Buckeyes win and cover ATS 41-20.
