The Ohio Bobcats visit Scheumann Stadium in Muncie, Indiana on Saturday to play the Ball State Cardinals. Ohio improved to 3-4 on the season and 2-1 in Mid-American Conference play following a 45-38 victory over Kent State. De’Monte Tuggle had two rushing touchdowns for the Bobcats including the final touchdown with three minutes remaining to clinch the victory for Ohio.
Ball State improved to 4-3 on the season and 3-0 in MAC play following a 52-14 rout of Toledo. Drew Plitt passed for three touchdowns while Malik Dunner rushed for a pair of TDs in Ball State’s lopsided victory over the Rockets. Ball State gained 580 total yards to 309 for Toledo and was 50% on its 12 third down conversions.
Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke has thrown for 1,612 yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Rourke is the leading rusher for the Bobcats with 409 yards and six touchdowns, while O’Shaan Allison has rushed for 371 yards and two touchdowns. Shane Hooks leads all receivers with 352 yards and three touchdowns. The leading tackler for the Bobcats is Javon Hagan with 59.
