Notre Dame at Georgia 9/21/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The College Football Game of the Week will feature a matchup between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Georgia Bulldogs from Sanford Stadium. The seventh ranked Fighting Irish are undefeated and have scored 101 points. On Saturday, Notre Dame QB Ian Book threw for a career-high five touchdowns to lead his team to a 66-14 rout over visiting New Mexico. Chase Claypool caught four passes for 96 yards and a touchdown for the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame rolled up 591 yards of total offense in the win, but was a disappointing 1-of-10 on third down conversions. The defense allowed 212 rushing yards and forced four turnovers.

The third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs have cruised to wins in three straight games to start the season and could be the best team in the country. Last weekend, Georgia QB Jake Frohm threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns during a 55-0 home victory versus Arkansas State. Dominick Blaylock hauled in four passes for 112 yards and a touchdown for the Bulldogs. 

Georgia featured a balanced offensive attack on Saturday, rushing for 268 yards and throwing for 388 more. The Bulldogs’ defense limited the Red Wolves to just 43 yards rushing on 28 attempts.
