Middle Tennessee in their last game finally picked up their first win to move to a 1-4 mark on the year. The Blue Raiders in the last game ended up beating the Florida International Panthers by  score of 31-28, which was impressive, but still showed that both of the teams are struggling quite a bit on the year.

Asher O’Hara was the quarterback for the Blue Raiders in the game. O’Hara went 23/42 for a total of 268 yards with 2 touchdowns, but was picked off 2 times in the game. The downside is O’Hara was also the leading rusher for the Blue Raiders as well with 23 carries for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game.

North Texas is coming to this game sitting on a 1-3 record on the year so far. However, one thing that the Mean Green have done is start to find a good way to play offense. The last game for North Texas ended up being a 49-21 loss and the problem with the loss is it did not help to prove that the Mean Green figured out how to play defense.

Austin Aune was the quarterback who led the Mean Green in the game. Aune went 23/43 for 382 yards with 3 touchdowns, but was picked off once in the game. The rushing offense was led by DeAndre Torrey who carried the ball 14 times for 89 yards and did not score at all.

In this game neither team is able to play defense. Look for that to be a challenge for the teams as both teams have a good offense as well. Look for the North Texas team to be able to play better in the game here as they are able to key in on O’Hara and keep him contained in the game and Middle Tennessee does not have anyone else to step up offensively. Final Score Prediction, North Texas Mean Green win but grab the points 35-27.
