North Carolina State at Clemson 10/1/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

A primetime college football showdown will take place on Saturday night, when the NC State Wolfpack visit Death Valley to face the Clemson Tigers. The 10th ranked Wolfpack (4-0) are an incredibly experienced team and are allowing just 11.8 points per contest. On Saturday, NC State limited UConn to 160 yards of total offense during a 41-10 home victory.

WR Thayer Thomas hauled in a 75-yard touchdown pass from Devin Leary on the first NC State play from scrimmage. Leary completed 32 of 44 passes for 320 yards and four scores for the Wolfpack.

The Clemson Tigers are undefeated through four games and are looking to rebound from an underachieving 2021 campaign. Last week, Clemson stopped Wake Forest in the second overtime period to escape with a 51-45 road victory. The fifth ranked Tigers (4-0) outgained the Demon Deacons by a 559-447 margin and possessed the ball for more than 37 minutes.

K B.T. Potter nailed a 52-yard field goal to send the game into overtime and Davis Allen scored the game-winning touchdown on a 21-yard reception. Clemson QB D.J. Uiagalelei threw for 371 yards and five touchdowns.
