North Carolina at Virginia Tech 10/19/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

North Carolina (3-3) had a week off last week and will play at Virginia Tech (4-2) this week. The Tarheels ended a three-game skid in their last game, but the team's three losses were by a total of 10 points and they nearly knocked off Clemson a few weeks ago. Five of six games have been decided by six or fewer points.

Virginia Tech has won two games after a loss twice this season and would be due for a loss if the pattern holds up. The Hokies are coming off an easy win at home against Rhode Island, the second win against an FCS school.

Deshawn Mclease leads the running game with 403 yards and two touchdowns. Tayvion Robinson has 245 yards receiving and one score. Tight end Dalton Keene has four touchdown catches. Eight players have caught touchdown passes for the Hokies.

Sam Howell leads North Carolina with 1544 yards passing, 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. Javonte Williams has 492 yards rushing and three of the team's four rushing touchdowns. Dyami Brown has 424 yards receiving and five touchdown catches.

The Tarheels are averaging 425 yards of offense, and Virginia Tech is averaging 379.

Virginia Tech has won the last three, and five of the last six games in this series. Last year's game was decided by three points.
