Norfolk State is coming here with a team that is not that well known. In fact, the club did not have any games played last year in the Division 1 level due to the Covid restrictions.
In their last 10 games against all the Division 1 teams, which dates all the way back to September 10th of 2011, the Spartans have yet to win. That has definitely played havoc with the confidence of the Norfolk State team against the bigger schools.
The Rockets are looking to improve on their MAC only finish last year. Last season the Toledo team ended up finishing on a 4-2 record on the year. The Rockies ended up bringing back a total of 11 starters on the offensive side, but the defensive side of the ball for the Rockets is bringing back a total of 10 starters.
Toledo has ended up last year with a total of 35 points per game. The offense has gained a tota lof 168 yards per game on the ground and 326 yards per game in the air. The defense for the Rockets has allowed 24.3 points per game last year. The defense has given up 129 yards per game on the ground and only 233 yards per game allowed in the air.
