Kyle Field will play host to a Saturday afternoon college football clash between the New Mexico Lobos and the Texas A&M Aggies. The Lobos have won consecutive games to start the season, which matches their total from the 2020 campaign. On Saturday, New Mexico limited Mex Mexico State to five second half points and forced two turnovers during a 34-25 home victory.

New Mexico QB Terry Wilson dissected the New Mexico State secondary for 381 yards and three touchdowns. RB Bobby Cole contributed 107 yards rushing and a score for the Lobos.

The Texas A&M Aggies possess one of the fiercest defenses in the country, but have work to do on the offensive side of the ball to reach their lofty preseason expectations. On Saturday, RB Isaiah Spiller caught an 18-yard touchdown pass with less than three minutes remaining to lift Texas A&M to a 10-7 road victory against Colorado. The fifth-ranked Aggies allowed just 89 yards through the air on 25 passing attempts.

Zach Calzada replaced injured QB Haynes King and completed 18 of his 38 passes for 183 yards. Spiller and Devon Achane combined for 150 yards from scrimmage for the Aggies.

Texas A&M is undefeated against New Mexico in four previous matchups, including a 55-14 home victory in 2017. The Aggies will be motivated after a lackluster performance on the road and will be looking to make an impression to prove that they are worthy of their lofty ranking. Take Texas A&M to win and cover at home. Final Score Prediction, Texas A&M Aggies win 45-7.
