The New Mexico Lobos visit Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho on Saturday to play the No. 22 ranked Boise State Broncos. The Lobos are 2-7 on the season and had their game scheduled against Air Force on Thursday postponed due to the death of defensive lineman Nahje Flowers. The cause of the death was not released. The game has been rescheduled for November 23.

Boise State improved to 8-1 on the season with a 20-17 overtime victory over the Wyoming Cowboys. Chase Cord passed for 190 yards with one touchdown and Eric Sachse booted a 28-yard field goal during overtime to lead the Broncos to the win. Boise State rallied from a 7-point deficit in the final quarter to tie and send the game to OT where their field goal won it.

Tevaka Tuioti leads the Lobos in passing with 1,250 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions. Ahmari Davis is the leading rusher with 823 yards and seven touchdowns. Jordan Kress leads the receiving corps with 449 yards and four touchdowns. Alex Hart is the leading tackler for New Mexico with 63.

Hank Bachmeier leads the Broncos with 1,760 yards passing, nine touchdowns and four interceptions. The leading rusher for the Broncos is George Holani with 619 yards and five touchdowns. John Hightower leads the Broncos in receiving with 630 yards and five touchdowns. Riley Whimpey is the leading tackler for Boise State with 49.

Boise State is coming off a hard fought overtime victory against Wyoming and will find it difficult against New Mexico as the Lobos look to play spoiler and dedicate the remainder of their season to Flowers. Boise State will win at home, but the Lobos will cover the number. New Mexico has covered the number in 6 of the last 8 meetings with Boise State and each of the last 4 played in Boise. Final Score Prediction, Boise State Broncos win but fall short ATS 33-20.
