On Saturday, the Nevada Wolfpack visit War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming to play the Wyoming Cowboys. The Wolfpack fell to 4-3 on the season following a 36-10 loss to Utah State in a snow storm. Penalties and miscues hurt Nevada in the loss. Toa Taua rushed for 80 yards in the loss for Nevada including scoring on a 20-yard run late in the fourth.
Wyoming improved to 5-2 on the season following its 23-10 victory over New Mexico. Cowboys quarterback Sean Chambers passed for one touchdown and rushed for another, while Xazavian Valladay rushed for 187 yards and one touchdown in the Cowboys win in which they never trailed. Wyoming is 2-1 in the Mountain West and in fourth place in the Mountain division.
Nevada quarterback Malik Henry has thrown for 593 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions. Toa Taua leads Nevada in rushing with 513 yards and four touchdowns. Elijah Cooks is the leading receiver with 393 yards and four touchdowns. Tyson Williams leads the Wolf Pack in tackles with 54.
Sean Chambers has thrown for 757 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. The leading rusher for the Cowboys is Chambers with 547 yards and nine touchdowns. Austin Conway leads all Wyoming receivers with 131 yards. The leading tackler for Wyoming is Alijah Halliburton with 69.
