The Nevada Wolf Pack visits Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday to play the UNLV Rebels. The Nevada Wolfpack began its 2020 regular season on Saturday with a 37-34 victory in overtime against the Wyoming Cowboys. Nevada gained 496 yards of total offense and had nearly a 10-minute advantage in time of possession over Wyoming in the victory but needed two field goals in OT to win.

 UNLV opened its 2020 college football regular season with 34-6 loss on the road to San Diego State University on Saturday. UNLV gained just 186 yards of total offense and 11 first downs, while allowing 424 yards of offense to San Diego State and 21 first downs. UNLV quarterback Max Gilliam threw for just 105 yards and one touchdown in the loss. The Rebels trailed 27-0 at the half and could not threaten, scoring just six points in the second half.
