Nevada at Hawaii 10/16/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Nevada Wolfpack will travel way out West this week to Honolulu, HI to take on the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors. Nevada comes into this week with two wins through six games played riding a four-game losing streak after a 3 point loss to Colorado State. Offensively Nevada moved the ball well accumulating 358 total yards to score 14 points but turned the ball over two times leading to the loss.

Nate Cox was mediocre under center for Nevada completing only 20 of 42 passes for 244 yards and ran the ball eight times for 23 yards as well. Toa Taua led the way on the ground for the Wolfpack with 80 yards and two scores on 23 carries, while BJ Casteel added 87 yards on 9 receptions.

Hawaii returns home this week with only one win through the first six games played after losing four of the last five games played including two in a row after their loss to San Diego State. Defensively Hawaii was obliterated San Diego State scored 16 points on 417 total yards including 13 points in the second half to secure the win.

Offensively Hawaii moved the ball well eclipsing 340 yards but converted only three third downs and turned the ball over one time resulting in the loss. Brayden Schager completed 20 of 34 passes for 196 yards and one score. Dedrick Parson led all ballcarriers in the game with 70 yards and one touchdown 14 carries.
