Nebraska at Oklahoma 9/18/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Saturday college football schedule will kick off with a battle between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Oklahoma Sooners from Memorial Field. The Cornhuskers (2-1) started the season with a disappointing loss at Illinois and have rebounded with consecutive victories against inferior opponents. On Saturday, Nebraska compiled 516 yards of total offense during a 28-3 home victory versus Buffalo.

Dual threat QB Adrian Martinez threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns to go along with a team-high 112 rushing yards. Nebraska WR Samari Toure caught two 68 yards touchdowns passes.

The Oklahoma Sooners have one of the most dynamic offenses in college football and hope to join the SEC Conference before the 2025 target date. On Saturday, Oklahoma built a 45-point halftime lead and cruised to a 76-0 home victory versus Western Carolina. The third-ranked Sooners limited the Catamounts to 178 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers.

Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattler needed just one half of action to throw for 243 yards and five touchdowns. Tennessee transfer Eric Gray rushed for a team-high 74 yards and Jaden Knowles rushed for two scores.

These two schools have not met since 2010 and Oklahoma holds a 45-38-1 edge over Nebraska. The Sooners rank fifth in the nation in scoring, but struggled with Tulane in a season opening five point home victory. Take the Cornhuskers and the points on the road. Final Score Prediction, Oklahoma Sooners win 43-28.
