The North Carolina Central Eagles (1-1) are coming off a demoralizing defeat to Elon. Quarterback Walker Harris leads the team into this game, but his performance has been lacking. harris has turned the ball over three times, while accounting for just two touchdowns. Defensively, NCCU was gashed in both of their games against much weaker competition. J'Mari Taylor has been the star of this offense. The runningback has accounted for 200 yards and four touchdowns.

The North Carolina Tar Heels (2-0) enter the game as heavy favorites following two wins to open the season. Quarterback Conner Harrell has been shaky, but effective, throwing 253 yards and two touchdowns. Omarion Hampton has been a reliable threat on the ground, running for 206 yards thus far. In UNC should have lost their opening game, as Minnesota missed two short field goals in the two point victory. We have yet to see the best of the Tar Heels.

NC Central vs North Carolina Pick Analysis

UNC is overrated and will be a look to fade during this season. This is not the game to do it. NC Central is a bad team in the MEAC and is far out of their league playing a Power 5 school. The Tar Heels should have no issue scoring. Prediction: UNC wins 44-7.
