Navy at Houston 9/25/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

Navy is coming to the game here after a bye week. The last game the Midshipmen played on was against the Air Force team and it ended up being a loss by a score of 23-3. The loss dropped Navy to a record of 0-2 on the year overall.

In the loss Navy ended up going 3/10 in the air for only 32 yards and no scores. The rushing offense was also horrible with 34 carries and only 36 yards gained. The defense for Navy allowed 49 yards in the air,  but gave up 176 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground.

Houston is coming to the game here after routing Grambling. The win for the Cougars came with a final score of 45-0. The win moved the Houston team to a 2-1 record on the year overall. Huge step up in competition this week so will be interesting to see how Cougars offense is verse Navy.

The Cougars used two quarterbacks in the game and they combined to go 18/29 for 258 yards and 2 touchdowns, but was picked off once. The rushing offense picked up 164 yards and 3 touchdowns on 45 carries. The defense allowed 49 yards in the air, but also gave up 53 yards on the ground while facing 34 carries.
