Falcon Stadium will welcome the Navy Midshipmen this week for a matchup the Air Force Falcons. Navy comes into this week 1-2 on the year after their first win of the year over ECU. Defensively Navy struggled against East Carolina as the Pirates totaled 370 yards in the game but Navy forced two turnovers to squeak out the double overtime victory.

Offensively Navy was running on all cylinders totaling 343 yards of offense including 191 on the ground to score 23 points leading to the win. Tai Lavatai orchestrated the Navy offense completing 7 of 10 passes for 152 yards and one touchdown and ran the ball 15 times for 30 yards as well. Vincent Terrell Jr. led all receivers with 114 yards and one score on three catches.

The Air Force Falcons continue their homestand this week 3-1 on the year following a blowout 28 point win over Nevada on Friday. Offensively Air Force dominated this game chewing up 541 total yards including 461 on the ground to score 48 total points in the game.

The Falcons used two different quarterbacks in the game combining to complete only one of three passes for 80 yards and one score. Brad Roberts led the way on the ground for Air Force with 123 yards and three scores on 20 carries and John Lee Eldridge III added 102 yards on 8 carries as well.

Air Force is having the much better season of the two teams in this matchup and will continue to roll this week. Air Force will take this game personally as they defend their home field against another military school. Look for Air Force to control this game throughout as they coast to the home win.
