Safety Martez Manuel had a productive outing from the secondary for the Tigers as he recorded 7 tackles and 3.5 TFL.

The Tennessee Volunteers come into this matchup with a 1-0 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent road game against the South Carolina Gamecocks, 31-27. QB Jarrett Guarantano had a productive game for the Volunteers as he connected on 19 of his 31 pass attempts for 259 yards and 1 TD while also adding in a rushing TD. The Tennessee Volunteers struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the South Carolina Gamecocks as they allowed them to score 27 points while racking up a total of 379 yards of offense. LB Deandre Johnson led the way for the Tennessee defense as he recorded 6 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and 2.5 sacks while also forcing a fumble. LB Henry To’o To’o was able to have a productive game as he brought an interception 32 yards for a TD.

The Missouri Tigers had the unfortunate luck of running into the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 1st game which resulted in a 21-point loss, but they also aren’t a great team which will show against an improved Tennessee program. The Volunteers have got to be happy with the play from Jarrett Guarantano as he played a fairly mistake free game with 259 passing yards, 1 TD, and no turnovers, but they also have a great two-headed monster at RB with Eric Gray and Ty Chandler. The Missouri offense didn’t show much in the first half against the Crimson Tide defense as they recorded 3 points, and the Tennessee defense could see similar results as they have talent at every level of the defense. Missouri isn’t ready to compete with the solid SEC teams, and this will be another example of that here. Final Score Prediction, Tennessee Volunteers win and cover ATS 31-17.
