The No. 23 ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs visit Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday to play the No. 13 ranked Kentucky Wildcats. Mississippi State improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC following its 40-17 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. Mississippi State gained 568 yards of total offense and did not turn the ball over. Will Rogers passed for 395 yards and three touchdowns.

Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers has passed for 2,110 yards with 22 touchdowns and three interceptions. Kentucky dropped to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the SEC following its 24-14 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday night. Kentucky was held to 299 yards of total offense and committed two turnovers, while allowing South Carolina to gain 356 yards of total offense. Kentucky quarterback Kaiya Sheron passed for 178 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while Chris Rodriguez Jr rushed for 126 yards.

Will Levis did not play for Kentucky on Saturday as he was wearing a medical boot on his foot and was replaced by Kaiya Sheron, who has passed for 178 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Kavosiey Smoke is the leading rusher for Kentucky with 275 yards and one touchdown while the leading receiver is Tayvion Robinson with 392 yards and three touchdowns receptions. On defense, linebacker DeAndre Square is the leading tackler with 41. Kentucky has eight quarterback sacks and five interceptions. 

Kentucky's offense scored just 14 points against South Carolina on Saturday as starting quarterback Will Levis did not play due to an undisclosed injury to his foot. Levis remains questionable for Saturday and without Levis the Wildcats offense is nearly nonexistent. Mississippi State has covered the number and nine of its last 13 and the Bulldogs easily covered the number on Saturday when defeating Arkansas by 23 points.
