The Michigan Wolverines are set to visit SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey for a Big Ten clash against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The Michigan Wolverines come into this matchup with a 1-3 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Wisconsin Badgers, 49-11. QB Joe Milton struggled to get much offense generated for the Wolverines as he only connected on 9 of his 19 pass attempts for 98 yards and 2 interceptions. WR Ronnie Bell was the top target for Milton and Michigan as he hauled in 4 catches for 56 yards.

The Michigan Wolverines struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Wisconsin Badgers as they allowed them to score 49 points and rack up a total of 468 yards of offense. DB Daxton Hill led the way for the Michigan defense with 11 tackles. The secondary had a productive game for the Wolverines as DB Gemon Green, DB Brad Hawkins, and DB Vincent Gray totaled 4 pass breakups.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights come into this matchup with a 1-3 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Illinois Fighting Illini, 23-20. QB Noah Verdal struggled to find much consistency through the air for Rutgers as he threw for 259 yards, 2 TDs, and 3 interceptions. WR Bo Melton was the top target for Verdal and the Scarlet Knights as he hauled in 5 catches for 150 yards and 2 TDs.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Illinois Fighting Illini as they allowed them to score 23 points and rack up a total of 442 yards of offense. LB Tyshon Fogg led thew ay for the Rutgers defense with 14 tackles. The Scarlet Knights were able to get into the Illinois backfield a handful of times as LB Olakunle Fatukasi and DL Mike Tverdov combined for 3 TFLs.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have been the laughing stock of the Big Ten for the past few seasons, but they are a much improved program this season as their offense has seen a boost with Noah Verdal under center. The Michigan Wolverines have continued to put terrible performances together after winning their season opener against Minnesota as they lost to a horrid Michigan State team as well as lost by a combined 55 points to Indiana and Wisconsin. WR Bo Melton has been a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses this season as he has hauled in 20 catches for 334 yards and 4 TDs, and I expect him to have a big game against an average Michigan secondary. QB Joe Milton has been awful for Michigan as he has thrown just as many interceptions as TDs, and I think Rutgers comes into this game fired up. Final Score Prediction, Rutgers Scarlet Knights win and cover ATS 28-27.
