Miami Redhawks at OSU Buckeyes 9/21/19 - NCAAF Picks & Predictions

The Miami (Ohio) RedHawks are set to visit Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio for a Wek 4 clash against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Miami (Ohio) RedHawks come into this matchup with a 1-2 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Cincinnati Bearcats, 35-13. QB Brett Gabbert was unable to get much offense generated through the air for the RedHawks as he only connected on 10 of his 18 passes for 143 yards. RB Tyre Shelton was able to contribute the lone TD of the game for the Miami (Ohio) offense as he ran for 39 yards and a TD.

The Miami (Ohio) RedHawks struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Cincinnati Bearcats as they allowed their opponent to score 35 points and total 420 yards of offense. Emmanuel Rugamba led the way from the secondary for the RedHawks as he contributed 9 tackles. DL Kameron Butler was able to get into the Bearcats backfield a handful of times as he racked up 7 tackles, 4 TFL, and 2 sacks. Travion Banks hauled in the lone interception of the game for the RedHawks defense.

The Ohio State Buckeyes come into this matchup with a 3-0 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent road game against the Indiana Hoosiers, 51-10. QB Justin Fields had a big game for the Ohio State Buckeyes as he threw for 199 yards and 3 TDs while adding a rushing TD. Ohio State had a two-headed monster out of the backfield as J.K. Dobbins ran for 193 yards and a TD while Master Teague III pitched in 106 rushing yards and a TD.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had a big game on the defensive side of the ball against the Indiana Hoosiers as they held their opponent to only 10 points and a total of 257 yards of offense. LB Pete Werner led the way for the Ohio State Buckeyes as he contributed 5 tackles and 2 TFL. Chase Young was able to get into the Hoosiers backfield a handful of times as he racked up 2 sacks. Damon Arnette Jr. contributed the lone interception of the game for the Buckeyes which he returned 96 yards

This is a big number to cover, but it is a hard one to pass up as the Ohio State Buckeyes have been dominant against group of 5 opponents in the early going. The Buckeyes have an early Heisman Trophy candidate in QB Justin Fields, and he has made this offense that more dangerous as he is a true dual threat. The Buckeyes proved on the defensive side of the ball that they can be one of the top units in the country as they held the Indiana offense to only 10 points which can be accredited to their future 1st round pick Chase Young applying constant pressure. Miami (Ohio) has been a part of back-to-back losses against Iowa and Cincinnati, but the Buckeyes are a better team than those programs. Final Score Prediction, Ohio State Buckeyes win and cover ATS 51-7.
