Both Miami and Virginia Tech will be looking to end losing streaks when they play in Blacksburg this weekend. Both desperately need a win to have any chance at being bowl eligible. Virginia Tech is 4-5 and has lost its last three games. Miami has lost its last four games after a 5-1 start to the season.

Miami has struggled offensively, and last weekend went with freshman N'Kosi Perry instead of senior Malik Rosier. Both have played in most games this year, but Rosier didn't last week. Rosier has passed for 1007 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Perry has thrown for 866, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions. Travis Homer leads the running game with 732 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan Willis has passed for 1770 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions for the Hokies. Steven Peoples ha rushed for 546 yards and five touchdowns. Willis has run for 282 yards and three more touchdowns. Damon Hazleton has 687 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. While Miami has struggled with offense, Virginia Tech has struggled on defense. The Hokies are giving up 447 yards per game, while averaging 431. The Hokies are giving up 31 points per game and scoring 29.8. Miami is averaging 30.9 points and his holding opponents to 20.1. Miami has great balance on offense, averaging 190 yards passing and 190 yards rushing.

Miami won last year in this rivalry, and the home team has won each of the past three years. Miami leads the all time series 21-14.

The two most disappointing teams in ACC square off with nothing but pride left to play for. Have to continue to face this terrible Virginia Tech defense that hasn't stopped anyone in last 4 games. Canes speed just too much for Hokies, Final Score Prediction, Miami Hurricanes win and cover ATS 36-26.
