Memphis vs UCF 12/1/18 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Memphis Tigers will visit Spectrum Stadium in Orlando, Florida on Saturday to play the Central Florida Knights in the American Athletic Conference championship game. The Tigers defeated the Houston Cougars on Friday 52-31 to set up their rematch against UCF. Darrell Henderson led the Tigers attack with 178 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.

UCF completed its second straight undefeated regular season at 11-0 with a 38-10 win over South Florida, but paid a huge price in the victory. The Knights star quarterback McKenzie Milton injured his knee in the win and is lost for the ACC title game and any other postseason bowl the Knights are selected for. Memphis quarterback Brady White has thrown for 2,947 yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Darnell Henderson has rushed for 1,699 yards and 19 touchdowns and Patrick Taylor Jr. has rushed for 894 yards and 14 TDs. Damonte Coxie leads Memphis in receiving with 1,062 yards and seven touchdowns.

UCF signal caller Darriel Mack Jr. has thrown for 174 yards and will play in place of the injured McKenzie Milton. The leading rusher for the Knights is Greg McCrae with 895 yards and eight touchdowns. The leading receiver is Gabriel Davis with 44 receptions for 655 yards and six touchdowns.

The Knights lost their star quarterback to a knee injury. UCF has a solid running game but with a backup at quarterback the Memphis defense will stack the line and force Darriel Mack Jr. to beat them through the air. Offensively, Memphis is scoring 48.3 points per game which is good enough for 20th in the nation. Take the Tigers in an upset. Final Score Prediction, Memphis Tigers win in upset but take the points just in case 34-31.
