Following a solid victory over Mercer, the Memphis Tigers travel to Annapolis to battle the Navy Midshipmen. The Tigers defeated the Midshipmen by a score of 30-27 last season in route to a 10-3 season and are hoping for a similar outcome in this game.

Brady White was terrific at Quarterback for Memphis in the season opener and threw for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Tigers also added 324 yards on the ground against Mercer and were lead by Darrel Henderson who ran the ball 9 times for 76 yards and 1 touchdown. 12 different players caught at least one pass in the season opener for the Tigers. Coming off a 59-41 loss to Hawaii in their season opener, the Navy Midshipmen face a tough task as they play host to the Memphis Tigers. The Midshipmen finished 7-6 last season and are looking for more this season.

Malcolm Perry is the Quarterback for the Midshipmen but does most of his damage with his legs. Perry ran for 108 yards and 1 touchdown for Navy in the season opener. Nelson Smith (10 carries, 86 yards) and Anthony Gargiulo (10 carries, 40 yards) are additional running threats for the Midshipmen. Taylor Jackson caught 3 passes for 38 yards in the season opener for Navy which are solid totals for a Navy receiver.

Tough back to back games for Navy as the Midshipmen played late game in Hawaii on Saturday night and now will have tired legs from jet lag for week 2. Memphis offense will be too much as they wear down Navy defense in week 2. Final Score Prediction, Memphis Tigers win and cover ATS 36-27.
