Rutgers announced Sunday it has fired its head coach and its offensive coordinator. Rutgers has been shut out twice and scored only 16 points over the last three games.

Anthony McFarland has rushed for 249 yards, and Javon Leake has run for 197 with an 8.2 yard per carry average. Dontay Demus has 185 yards receiving and Darryl Jones has 138. The Terps have tried only one field goal this season and it was missed.
Arthur Sitkowski has passed for 429 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for Rutgers. Isaiha Pacheco has rushed for 262 yards and four touchdowns. Rasheem Blackshear has 88 yards and two touchdowns receiving to lead the Scarlet Knights. Through four games Rutgers has three touchdowns passing and four rushing. The Scarlett Knights are averaging 3.4 yards per rush.
Maryland has won three of the last five games between these two teams. Four times the visiting team has won. Maryland is averaging winning by a 39-24 score, while Rutgers is averaging losing by a 33-16 margin.
