The Midshipmen last year struggled quite a bit on the year and did not look impressive at all. In fact, Navy finished the year with a 3-7 mark on the year. The last game was a 15-0 loss to another service school in Army.
The offense for Navy is bringing back only 4 starters. Last season the Navy offense was able to get only 16.6 points per game, but the gained a total of 275 yards per game. The defense for Navy allowed a total of 30.3 points per game, but gave up a total of 386 yards per game on the year. One bright spot for Navy is 8 defensive starters are coming back.
