Marshal at Old Dominion 11/5/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

S.B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, VA will welcome the Marshall Thundering Herd this week for a match up with the Old Dominion Monarchs. Marshall comes into Virginia this week sitting at 4-4 overall following 11 point loss to Coastal Carolina on Saturday. Offensively Marshall moved the ball extremely well accumulating 407 total yards of offense to score 13 points in the game but turned the ball over two times and converted only four third downs leading to the loss.

Quarterback Cam Fancher orchestrated the Marshall offense completing 19 of 36 passes for 320 yards total. Khalan Laborn led all ball carriers in the game with 59 yards and one score on 16 carries, wild Cory Gammage posted a team high 187 yards on 8 receptions.

The Old Dominion Monarchs go back home this week with only three wins through five games played riding a two game skid following a 14 point loss to Georgia State. Defensively the Monarchs struggled as Georgia State scored 31 points on 418 total yards of offense including 223 on the ground. Offensively Old Dominion moved the ball well with nearly 300 yards of offense but turned the ball over twice and Squirtle only three points in the second half leading to the loss.

Hayden Wolff led the way for the Old Dominion offense completed 19 of 34 passes for 257 yards and two scores but ran the ball 8 times for -37 yards as well. Javon Harvey led all receivers in the game with 124 yards and one score on three catches and Ali Jennings III added 24 yards and one score on three receptions as well.
