Louisville at Wake Forest 10/12/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Louisville Cardinals visit BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Saturday for an ACC showdown with the No. 22 ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The Cardinals improved to 3-2 on the season with a 41-39 victory over Boston College on Saturday. Blanton Creque booted a field goal of 41 yards with just over one minute remaining to give the Cardinals the two-point victory. 

Wake Forest had a bye week this past weekend and improved to 5-0 overall following its 27-24 win over Boston College in its last outing eight days ago. In the win, Wake Forest quarterback James Newman three a pair of touchdown passes. Newman threw for 243 yards, two TDs and one interception. Cade Carney rushed for one touchdown for Wake.

Tutu Atwell is the leading receiver with 424 yards and five touchdowns. Khane Pass leads the Cardinals in tackles with 39. 

James Newman has thrown for 1,521 yards and 14 touchdowns and three interceptions to lead the Demon Deacons. Kenneth Walker III leads all Wake rushers with 318 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver for Wake Forest is Sage Surratt with 515 yards and six touchdowns. Justin Strnad leads Wake Forest in tackles with 53.
