Louisville at NC State 10/30/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Louisville Cardinals will take their one game win streak on the road to North Carolina State to take on the Wolfpack. The Cardinals beat Boston College 28-14 at home last week. QB Malik Cunningham threw for 107 yards with no touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the win. Cunningham also rushed for 133 yards on 16 attempts. 

The Cardinals are 4-3 on the season heading into Saturday. Louisville plays much better football at home as they are just 1-2 on the road. The Cardinals are 3-3 in divisional games this season. The Cardinals last played the Wolfpack back in 2019 when they won 34-20. 

The N.C. State Wolfpack lost a tough game in Miami last week 31-30. QB Devin Leary threw for 310 yards with 2 touchdowns in the loss. Leary has started all the games this season and has 17 touchdowns with just 2 interceptions. WR Thayer Thomas has had two straight big weeks. Thomas has 3 touchdowns over the last two games with 193 receiving yards. 

The Wolfpack are 5-2 on the season with a perfect 4-0 home field record. North Carolina State are 4-2 in divisional games and hope to get back into the win column this week. The Wolfpack have been solid on both sides of the ball this season. N.C. State ranks 21st in the national allowing 93 rushing yards per game.
