Struggling ACC Conference foes will battle on Saturday afternoon, when the Louisville Cardinals visit the Florida State Seminoles. Louisville opened the season with an 18-point home loss versus Notre Dame and has bounced back with two victories versus lesser in-state competition. On Saturday, Louisville played without injured QB Jawon Pass during a 38-21 road victory against Western Kentucky. Tutu Atwell caught three touchdown passes for the Cardinals.

Louisville featured a balanced offense that rushed for 210 yards and totaled 205 yards through the air. The defense limited the Hilltoppers to 42 yards rushing on 23 attempts.

Something is wrong in Tallahassee and second year head coach Willie Taggart has yet to figure out the solution for his Florida State Seminoles. On Saturday, Florida State allowed the final 14 points of the game during a disappointing 31-24 road loss against Virginia. James Blackman threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns in a losing effort for the Seminoles, who fell to 1-2 on the year.

Florida State failed to get their running game on track, rushing for 3.3 yards per carry and possessing the ball for just over 20 minutes. The Seminoles were abused for 295 through the air by the Cavaliers.
