Louisville vs Boston College Picks and Prediction – 10/25/2024

The Boston College Eagles got off to a hot start for first year head coach Bill O’Brien but enter this week looking to snap a two-game skid. The Eagles (4-3) rank seventh in the conference in total defense and are limiting opponents to 20.7 points per game. On Thursday, Boston College trailed by 28 points at halftime during a 42-21 road loss against Virginia Tech. 

Boston College finally got on the scoreboard midway through the third quarter on a 25-yard strike from Thomas Castellanos to Treshaun Ward. Jeremiah Franklin caught an 11-yard touchdown pass and Kyle Robichaux added a five-yard touchdown run for the Eagles.

This has been a competitive series in recent years, but Louisville was dominant during a 56-28 home victory over Boston College in 2023. The Cardinals will likely experience some hangover from an emotional home loss against Miami and could be flat in this spot. Take the Eagles to pull off the upset.
