Kentucky at South Carolina 9/28/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The South Carolina Gamecocks return home this week and get set to host the Kentucky Wildcats. The Gamecocks are 1-3 on the season and they sit 6th in the SEC East. South Carolina lost in Missouri last week and they head back home riding a two game losing streak. The Gamecocks are 1-1 at home this season. 

QB Ryan Hilinski has been the Gamecocks starter through the first three games. Hilinski has 5 touchdowns on the season with 3 interceptions. Hilinski went down last week and is questionable for this weeks action. Look for Dakereon Joyner to take some snaps. Dakereon went 6/11 last week for 89 yards. 

The Kentucky Wildcats also head into South Carolina riding a two game win streak. Kentucky lost in Mississippi State last week 28-13. This will be the Wildcats third straight tough game. Kentucky is 2-2 on the season and and 5th in the SEC East. 

The Wildcats are 0-1 on the road and carry a 0-2 conference record. Kentucky's QB Sawyer Smith has struggled through his first three games. Smith has 4 touchdowns with 4 interceptions. RB Asim Rose has a standout game last week with 105 yards on 9 attempts.
