Kentucky at Ole Miss 10/1/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

On Saturday, the No. 8 ranked Kentucky Wildcats visit Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi to play the No. 16 ranked Ole Miss Rebels. The Kentucky Wildcats improved to 4-0 following a 31-23 victory over the Northern Illinois Huskies on Saturday. Will Levis passed for 303 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, but the Wildcats looked lackluster against a much lesser talented  Northern Illinois squad.

Kentucky quarterback Will Levis has passed for 1,185 yards with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. The leading rusher is Kavosley Smoke with 263 yards and one touchdown, while the leading receiver is Tayvion Robinson with 349 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Jacquez Jones is the leading tackler with 26. Kentucky has six quarterback sacks and three interceptions.

Ole Miss improved to 4-0 following its 35-27 victory over Tulsa on Saturday. The Ole Miss offense gained 462 yards, but the Rebels defense gave up too much, allowing 457 yards of total offense to Tulsa. Ole Miss scored 28 points in the second quarter to lead 35-17 at the half and did not score after the break but held on to win by eight points.

The leading rusher is Quinshon Judkins with 429 yards and five touchdowns, while Zach Evans has rushed for 365 yards and four touchdowns. The leading receiver is Jonathan Mingo with 257 yards and one touchdown reception. On defense, linebacker Troy Brown is the leading tackler with 29. Ole Miss has 13 quarterback sacks and four interceptions.

Kentucky will pick up its fifth consecutive victory on Saturday to remain perfect on the season but the play here is UNDER. The UNDER has cashed in 11 of Ole Miss’ last 12 as well as in seven of the Rebels last eight at home. The UNDER has cashed in four of the Wildcats last five. Kentucky is holding opponents to an average of 13.0 points per game, while Ole Miss is allowing an average of only 10.0 points per game. Final Score Prediction, Kentucky Wildcats win but our best play is UNDER 27-23.
