On Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats visit Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia to play an SEC showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs. The Wildcats evened their record at 3-3 with a 24-20 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Lynn Bowden started for the first time at quarterback for Kentucky and accounted for three Wildcats’ touchdowns including a 24-yard touchdown run that put Kentucky ahead. 

Georgia was shocked on Saturday after falling to the South Carolina Gamecocks at home 20-17 in double overtime. Jake Fromm committed four turnovers in the game for Georgia. Georgia’s Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 42-yard field goal to tie the game in the second overtime and missed an attempt from 33 yards during the first overtime. Georgia’s national title hopes took a huge hit with the loss.

The leading receiver at Georgia is George Pickens with 283 yards and two touchdowns. Monty Rice leads Georgia in tackles with 38.

Georgia will be looking to take its frustration out on Kentucky. The Bulldogs were upset by South Carolina on Saturday and will look to bounce back with vengeance in this SEC matchup.
