On Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats visit Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia to play an SEC showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs. The Wildcats evened their record at 3-3 with a 24-20 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Lynn Bowden started for the first time at quarterback for Kentucky and accounted for three Wildcats’ touchdowns including a 24-yard touchdown run that put Kentucky ahead. 

Georgia was shocked on Saturday after falling to the South Carolina Gamecocks at home 20-17 in double overtime. Jake Fromm committed four turnovers in the game for Georgia. Georgia’s Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 42-yard field goal to tie the game in the second overtime and missed an attempt from 33 yards during the first overtime. Georgia’s national title hopes took a huge hit with the loss.

Kentucky quarterback Lynn Bowden has thrown for 117 yards and one touchdown. The Wildcats leading rusher is Asim Rose with 420 yards and two touchdowns. Jake Fromm has thrown for 1,371 yards and nine touchdowns and three interceptions for Georgia. D’Andre Swift is the leading rusher for the Bulldogs with 573 yards and five touchdowns. The leading receiver at Georgia is George Pickens with 283 yards and two touchdowns. Monty Rice leads Georgia in tackles with 38.

Georgia will be looking to take its frustration out on Kentucky. The Bulldogs were upset by South Carolina on Saturday and will look to bounce back with vengeance in this SEC matchup.
