The Florida Gators continue a home stand to open the 2022 regular season undefeated following a 3 point win over the number 7 ranked Utah Utes in week one. Offensively Florida was dominant with 451 yards in the game including 283 on the ground to score 29 points including 15 in the fourth quarter.

Anthony Richardson was the best player on the field completing 17 of 24 passes for 168 yards, while running the ball 11 times for 106 yards and three touchdowns as well. Ricky Pearsall was the primary target for Richardson hauling in four catches for 67 yards in the game.
