The Kentucky Wildcats visit Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday to play the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in an SEC showdown. Kentucky improved to 3-4 following its 38-35 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Wildcats gained 458 yards of total offense while allowing Vanderbilt 407 yards. Chris Rodriguez Jr rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns including a 74-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter that was the difference in the game.

Quarterback Terry Wilson has passed for 712 yards with six touchdowns and one interception while being sacked eight times. The leading rusher for Kentucky is Chris Rodriguez Jr with 562 yards and six touchdowns. Josh Ali is the leading receiver for Kentucky with 343 yards and one touchdown reception. On defense, linebacker Jamin Davis has 65 tackles to lead the Wildcats and linebacker Jamar Watson is the leader in quarterback sacks 4.0.

Alabama improved to 6-0 following its 41-0 victory last Saturday over the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide’s game with LSU scheduled for November 14 was postponed due to positive covid tests. Alabama held Mississippi State to just 200 yards of total offense and forced the Bulldogs into three turnovers. Alabama quarterback Mac Jones passed for 291 yards and four touchdowns while wide receiver Devonta Smith caught 11 passes for 203 yards and four touchdowns.

Mac Jones has passed for 2,196 yards with 16 touchdowns, two interceptions and has been sacked seven times. The leading rusher for Alabama is Najee Harris with 714 yards and 14 touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Devonta Smith with 759 yards and eight touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Dylan Moses has a team-high 50 tackles and linebacker Christopher Allen and defensive lineman Christian Barmore are leading in quarterback sacks with 2.0 each.

Alabama will easily defeat Kentucky at home on Saturday, but the Crimson Tide will have problems covering the number. Alabama must cover high double-digit spreads, which is oftentimes very difficult to do. Over the last eight games played between these two SEC rivals, Alabama has dominated with seven wins straight up, but is just 4-4 ATS. Kentucky has covered 10 of the last 15 overall and it's running game will take time off the clock and keep Alabama from running up the score. Final Score Prediction, Alabama Crimson Tide wins but falls short ATS 37-23.
