The Kent State Golden Flashes will travel to Kinnick Stadium Saturday for a week three matchup against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Quarterback Dustin Crum led the way for Kent State completing 12 out of 17 passes thrown for 180 yards and one touchdown. Nykeim Johnson lead the way for the Kent State receivers with 55 yards and one score on five catches.

The rushing attack for Kent State carried the way as the team combined for 494 yards and seven touchdowns on 62 carries.  Marquez Cooper led the team with 119 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries. Joachim Bangda and Daniel Bangura both chipped in with 80 yards and one touchdown apiece.

The Iowa Hawkeyes return home for week 3 with a 2-0 record on the year following a 27-17 win against Iowa State. Spencer Petras orchestrated the going 11-21 through the air for 106 yards and one touchdown.

The running game for Iowa struggled against Iowa State combining for 67 total yards and one score on 39 carries. Tyler Goodson added much of the production on the ground for Iowa with 55 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are rolling this year and have separated themselves as an elite team. Kent St is 1-1 after week 2 and still has a lot to work on.
