Kansas State at Texas 11/9/19 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The No. 22 ranked Kansas State Wildcats visit Royal Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas on Saturday to play the Texas Longhorns. The Wildcats won their third straight by defeating Kansas 38-10 and improved to 6-2. Skylar Thompson rushed for 127 yards with three touchdowns and Harry Trotter rushed for 92 yards and one touchdown to help lead the Wildcats to the win.

Texas fell to 5-3 following its 37-27 loss to TCU during Week 9. The Longhorns had a bye in Week 10. Texas led at halftime over TU 17-13 but was outscored 24-10 in the second half. Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger threw for 321 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but was picked off four times. Devin Devernay had 173 yards receiving in a losing effort for the Longhorns. 

Skylar Thompson has thrown for 1,207 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception for Kansas State. James Gilbert leads the Wildcats in rushing with 558 yards and five touchdowns. The leading receiver for K-State is Dalton Schoen with 389 yards and three touchdowns. Denzel Goolsby is the leading tackler with 36.

Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger has thrown for 2,378 yards, 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The leading rusher for the Longhorns is Keaontay Ingram with 494 yards and four touchdowns. The leading receiver is Devin Devernay with 800 yards and seven touchdowns. Joseph Ossai is the leading tackler for the Longhorns with 55.
