The Indiana Hoosiers are set to visit Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin for a Big Ten clash against the Wisconsin Badgers. The Indiana Hoosiers come into this matchup with a 5-1 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Maryland Terrapins, 27-11. QB Michael Penix Jr. wasn’t asked to do much through the air for Indiana as he threw for 84 yards on 6 completions. The ground game was strong for the Hoosiers as RB Tim Baldwin Jr. had 100 yards on 16 carries while RB Stevie Scott III had 80 yards and 3 TDs.

The Indiana Hoosiers were very good on the defensive side of the ball against the Maryland Terrapins as they held them to 11 points and a total of 300 yards of offense. LB Cam Jones led the way for the Indiana defense with 6 tackles. The secondary had a big game for the Hoosiers as DB Jaylin Williams and DB Tiawan Mullen both hauled in interceptions while DB Jamar Johnson had 5 tackles.

The Wisconsin Badgers come into this matchup with a 2-1 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Northwestern Wildcats, 17-7. QB Graham Mertz struggled to find much consistency through the air for Wisconsin as he threw for 230 yards, 1 TD, and 3 interceptions. RB Jalen Berger had a productive game on the ground for the Badgers as he ran for 93 yards on 15 carries.

The Wisconsin Badgers were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Northwestern Wildcats as they held them to 17 points and a total of 263 yards of offense. LB Jack Sanborn led the way for the Wisconsin defense with 14 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 sack. The Badgers were able to get into the Northwestern backfield a handful of times as CB Rachad Wildgoose, LB Nick Herbig, and CB Caesar Williams all racked up a TFL.

The Wisconsin Badgers have only been able to play 3 games this season due to COVID cancelations, and they will have to come into this game and regroup against a good Indiana team. The Hoosiers have been amazing this season as their lone loss of the season was against the Ohio State Buckeyes, and they should be able to continue their success on the road against the Badgers. The Hoosiers have a handful of weapons as WR Ty Fryfogle has 652 receiving yards and 7 TDs while RB Stevie Scott III has 405 rushing yards and 8 TDs, and they should have some success here. The Hoosiers defense has been opportunistic this year as they have 16 interceptions, and I think they come close to getting a road upset, but the Wisconsin defense will hold. Final Score Prediction, Wisconsin Badgers win but fail to cover ATS 24-20.
