The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have started the season on a five-game winning streak and have won each game by double digits. On Monday, Rutgers opened conference play with a 74-60 road triumph against Maryland. The Scarlet Knights (5-0) outscored the Terrapins by 15 points in the second half and limited them to 34 percent shooting overall.

Rutgers G Ron Harper Jr. scored 19 of his game-high 27 points during the second half and grabbed five rebounds. Gio Baker contributed 13 points in 28 minutes off the bench for the Scarlet Knights.
