The Sooners are coming to the game after crushing the Temple Owls to open the season. The win for the Sooners came by a score of 51-3 and moved the Oklahoma squad to a record of 1-0.

In the win the Sooners were able to see Jackson Arnold show up in the game going 17/25 for 141 yards and 4 touchdowns. The rushing offense was a dominating force as well carrying the ball 36 times for 220 yards and a touchdown in the game. The defense allowed only 128 yards in the air and picked the quarterback off 2 times for the Owls. The Sooners also gave up only 69 yards on the ground off of 36 carries.

Houston looked very sloppy in the opening game of the season. The lack of offensive effort, combined with a defense that did not stop UNLV from grinding out the clock showed and really cost the Cougars. Look for the Sooners to do even more and blow Houston out of the water in this game here as the Sooners have an even more competent offense than UNLV.
