Houston at Memphis 10/7/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Houston Cougars visit Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee on Friday to play the Memphis Tigers. Houston dropped to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the American Athletic Conference following its 27-23 loss to Tulane on Friday. Memphis held Temple to 297 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers by the Owls. Memphis gained 331 yards of total offense led by quarterback Seth Henigan, who passed for 195 yards and one touchdown. Memphis was held scoreless in the first half but outscored Temple 24-0 after the break.

Seth Henigan has passed for 1,246 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. The leading rusher is Brandon Thomas with 219 yards and six touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Gabriel Rogers with 231 yards. Caden Prieskorn has five touchdown receptions. On defense, cornerback Quindell Johnson has a team high 38 tackles. Memphis has seven quarterback sacks and eight interceptions.
